GACKT visited Uesugi Kenshin tomb earlier today to pay respects.  Then headed to the press conference and said that he wants to continually participate to the festival.

The festival for Uesugi Kenshin starts tomorrow.  Limited sale of the 24-page pamphlet/booklet, with GACKT's interview, was announced to be on sale during the event days - Aug.22-23, 2015.  Other GACKT goods will also be available on the same days.  The event will be streamed live as usual via JCV'S USTREAM page: http://www.ustream.tv/channel/ ( Read more... )

It was officially announced that GACKT will play, for the 7th time, as Uesugi Kenshin in the annual Kenshin Kousai in Joetsu City, Niigata Prefecture.  The festival will be held on August 22-23, 2015.  In the press conference, it was said that after this year, G will take a break (from doing Kenshin Kousai).

Official news came in tonight that GACKT will again be Uesugi Kenshin in this year's Kenshin Kousai.  The festival will be held on August 23-24.
